My EDI data has line termination characters after each segment. Is this OK?

Yes, EDIReader is quite flexible with regard to extra characters such as CRs and LFs between segments. Your interchange may appear as one long line in file with nothing other than the segment terminator character between segments. Alternatively, the  segments of your interchange may be placed one-per-line in a file without the line terminators causing problems. There is no need to tell the parser in advance which style you intend to use.
