Do I have to specify a particular EDI standard before parsing? PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 04 February 2007
No.When parsing begins, EDIReader inspects the beginning of the data to determine which EDI standard applies and then dynamically selects the appropriate parser subclass to use for the interchange. It is even possible to parse a sequence of interchanges in a "batch" scenario where the interchanges are not all from a common standard. Many high-priced EDI translators do not support this capability.
